This is the belting structure for the Children’s programme.
The times between the belts are the minimum times, the standard of your training
and attendance are taken in to account when deciding if a student is ready to
grade for the next belt.
Red Belt (9th Kyu) 1 Month
Blue Belt (5th Kyu) 3 Months
Yellow Belt (8th Kyu) 2 Months
Provisional Purple Belt 2 Months
Provisional Orange 2 Months
Purple Belt (4th Kyu) 3 Months
Orange Belt (7th Kyu) 2 Months
Brown Belt (3rd Kyu) 6 Months
Provisional Green Belt 2 Months
Brown Belt (2nd Kyu) 6 Months
Green Belt (6th Kyu) 2 Months
Brown Belt (1st Kyu) 6 Months
Provisional Blue Belt 2 Months
